We are so excited to welcome our youngest learners to Chapel Hill Christian Academy!
Our Pre-K Program provides a joyful, faith-filled environment where curiosity is nurtured, friendships blossom, and a love for learning begins to grow.
Designed for children ages 3 and 4, our program blends hands-on exploration, play-based learning, and biblical truths to help each child grow spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally.
Our curriculum is teacher-developed and intentionally selected to meet the developmental needs of every student while aligning with state standards. Through stories, songs, creative play, and early academic foundations, students build skills that prepare them for kindergarten—and for a lifelong love of learning.

Pre-K Schedule
A Joyful Start to a Lifelong Love of Learning
CHCA Pre-K is a full-time program, Monday through Friday, designed to nurture curiosity, creativity, and a love for Jesus in our youngest learners.
Each day begins with Chapel, where our PK3 and PK4 students worship together through songs, stories, and hand motions that bring Bible truths to life. Our tiniest disciples learn that they are deeply loved by God and that His Word is a light to guide their hearts and minds.
After Chapel, students dive into learning centers and small groups that spark discovery in reading, math, and science through hands-on activities, imaginative play, and problem-solving. They enjoy snack and lunch outdoors whenever possible, plenty of time for play and exploration, and engaging whole-group learning experiences that build confidence and joy.
Just like our Kindergarten through 11th grade students, our Pre-K students end each day with prayer and praise, reflecting on God’s goodness through conversation, drawing, or gratitude journaling—connecting back to the Scripture or memory verse they are learning.

Welcome to Pre-K at Chapel Hill
I am so excited to begin this upcoming school year with your child and family as Chapel Hill Christian Academy's Lower School Principal. God is doing amazing things at Chapel Hill and it is truly an honor to be a small part of it!
As we look forward to the upcoming year, I'm praying for your child! I pray that each student will flourish academically, and develop a love of learning. Most importantly, I pray they grow in their relationship and walk with Christ. When I pass the students in the hallway or see you in car line, I feel the love you have for your child. I don't know about you, but when I think about how much I love my two girls, I'm blown away by how much God loves us! He sent his only Son to die on the cross so we can have eternity in heaven. Isn't that pretty amazing? Words cannot explain how much joy I have that He is at the center of our daily routine and focus. It is such a special place. We have the opportunity to come, grow, learn, and talk about Jesus.
At Chapel Hill, we are preparing our students to go out into the world and follow God's plan for their life. Whether that be as an engineer, a missionary, a teacher, or a chef, we want them to have a wonderful foundation. At Chapel Hill, we want the children to know that no matter what is going on in the world around them, they can face it because they have a relationship with Jesus. Isaiah 41:10 says, "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."
