CHCA Pre-K

We are excited that we are able to offer Pre-K at Chapel Hill!

Our program serves children ages 3 to 4 years old and the curriculum has been hand selected and teacher-developed to meet the needs of each child and to meet state standards. Our Pre-K Times and Schedule are listed below!

  • 3 year old PreK Program (PK3) + 4 year old PreK Program (PK4)

    • Uniforms are not required

    • By August 15th, children must turn 3 years of age for Pre-K 3 and 4 years of age for Pre-K 4.

    • Please note that toileting mastery is a requirement for enrollment in the Preschool Program.

Pre-K schedule

CHCA Pre-K is a full-time program, Monday through Friday! Our PK3 and PK4 classes will start their day with Chapel! Throughout the day our tiniest disciples will join together for songs, stories, and hand movements to explore and learn stories and verses from the Bible! After Chapel, our students will experience learning centers and small groups that develop their understanding of reading, math, and science through creative thinking, imaginative play, and problem solving. During the day students will have the opportunity to eat snack and lunch outside, have fun in outdoor play, and enjoy whole group learning activities!

Just like our K-9 students, our PreK students will also end their day in prayer and praise by thanking God for what He has done for them by having a conversation, drawing a picture or writing in their gratitude journal and connecting back to the scripture or memory verse they are learning! Click here to learn about our Before + After Care if needed!

I am so excited to begin this upcoming school year with your child and family as Chapel Hill Christian Academy's Lower School Principal. God is doing amazing things at Chapel Hill and it is truly an honor to be a small part of it! As we look forward to the upcoming year, I'm praying for your child! I pray that each student will flourish academically, and develop a love of learning. Most importantly, I pray they grow in their relationship and walk with Christ. When I  pass the students in the hallway or see you in car line, I feel the love you have for your child. I don't know about you, but when I think about how much I love my two girls, I'm blown away by how much God loves us! He sent his only Son to die on the cross so we can have eternity in heaven. Isn't that pretty amazing? Words cannot explain how much joy I have that He is at the center of our daily routine and focus. It is such a special place. We have the opportunity to come, grow, learn, and talk about Jesus. At Chapel Hill, we are preparing our students to go out into the world and follow God's plan for their life. Whether that be as an engineer, a missionary, a teacher, or a chef, we want them to have a wonderful foundation. At Chapel Hill, we want the children to know that no matter what is going on in the world around them, they can face it because they have a relationship with Jesus. Isaiah 41:10 says, "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." Thank you for choosing Chapel Hill Christian Academy! May we partner together on your child's educational journey to create and foster an environment that is distinctively Christian, academically excellent, and biblically saturated. It is my pleasure and honor to serve at Chapel Hill Christian Academy. Let's go, CHCA!
