Begin your application for the 2027–2028 school year!

December 18 | Current Family Sibling Deadline
Current CHCA families should submit applications for siblings seeking enrollment by this date.

January 15 | First-Round Application Deadline
New families must complete their applications by this date for first-round consideration.

March 15 | Second-Round Application Deadline
New families must complete their applications by this date for second-round consideration.

April–July | Rolling Admissions

Student Screener
If your full application meets our admissions criteria and space remains available in your desired grade level, your student will be invited to complete an in-person academic screener aligned to their current grade level. This helps our team better understand your student’s academic readiness and learning needs.

Family Interview
Parents and students will also participate in a Family Interview with school leadership. This conversation allows us to get to know your family, discuss educational goals and expectations, and explore whether Chapel Hill Christian Academy is the right fit for your student. This is also a great time for families to ask any questions they may have about CHCA.

Admissions Review
Following the Family Interview and Student Screener, our Admissions Committee will carefully review each application. This process helps ensure prospective students align with the academic, personal, and spiritual qualities valued at Chapel Hill Christian Academy.

Admissions Offer & Enrollment
Following the Admissions Review process, families will be notified regarding enrollment decisions. If enrollment is offered, families will have one week to accept or decline placement for the upcoming school year.

Chapel Hill Christian Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race in administration of its educational policies, scholarship and other school-administered programs.
Admissions FAQ
Waitpool
CHCA follows admissions rounds rather than a first-come, first-served process. Once your application is fully complete, including all required documents and references, your student will be placed in our applicant waitpool for consideration in the appropriate admissions round.
The Admissions Office will contact you by email if space is available in your student’s grade level and your family is invited to proceed with the next steps. Placement in the waitpool does not guarantee an interview or an offer of enrollment.
Incoming Seniors
Chapel Hill Christian Academy’s policy and practice is not to accept incoming seniors unless there are extenuating circumstances that are evaluated and determined by the Admissions Committee.
First and Second Round Deadlines
To be considered in an admissions round, your application must be fully complete by that round’s deadline, including all required documents and references. Applications missing required materials will be considered in a later round once complete, subject to space availability.
