Global & Stateside Missions
At Chapel Hill Christian Academy, our mission to serve, lead, and impact the world for Christ extends far beyond our campus. We believe students are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus—in their hometown, across our nation, and around the world.
From local service days to international partnerships, every CHCA student has the opportunity to experience what it means to live a life of compassion, humility, and purpose.
Stateside Missions: Serving Across the U.S.
Each year, our 9th grade students travel to Orlando, Florida for a week of hands-on service and discipleship. This annual trip gives students the opportunity to serve children and families through local ministries, community outreach, and acts of compassion.
The Orlando Mission Trip is more than a travel experience—it’s a spiritual milestone. Students grow in leadership, teamwork, and empathy as they step outside their comfort zones to serve others in the name of Christ.
This trip, along with other service-focused opportunities throughout the year, helps students recognize that mission work doesn’t just happen overseas—it happens wherever God places us.

Our Global Partnership:
Pueblo Modelo, Guatemala
At Chapel Hill Christian Academy, we believe our mission doesn’t stop at the walls of our classrooms. God has called us to raise up students who serve, lead, and impact the world for Christ—both here at home and across the globe.
This year, we are thrilled to announce a new partnership with a community in Pueblo Modelo, Guatemala, through Children’s HopeChest, a ministry whose vision is to ignite hope around the world by empowering vulnerable children and families to break the cycle of poverty.
A Partnership Rooted in Relationship
Over the summer, a team from Chapel Hill traveled to Guatemala to visit Pueblo Modelo and meet the children and families who call it home. Through this trip, our hearts were deeply moved—and our school’s partnership was born.
HopeChest’s model is built on a simple but powerful truth:
“Relationships drive transformation.”
They believe true change doesn’t happen through quick fixes, but through long-term relationships, discipleship, and education. This mirrors the very heart of Chapel Hill’s mission—investing in the lives of others through faith, compassion, and community.

CHCA launched a new partnership with a community in Guatemala called Pueblo Modelo in 2025!
CHCA + Pueblo Modelo:
A Beautiful New Partnership Begins
About Pueblo Modelo
Guatemala is a beautiful country with breathtaking landscapes and more than 30 volcanoes—three of which are still active! But beyond its beauty lies deep need.
In Pueblo Modelo, many children live in small homes with dirt floors and scrap metal siding. Consistent meals, safe schools, and access to education are rare. Yet when you look into their eyes, you see the same joy, curiosity, and God-given potential that we see in our students at CHCA.
Through this partnership, our school family has the opportunity to come alongside these children—not just to meet immediate needs, but to walk with them as they grow, dream, and discover God’s plan for their lives.
Transformation on Both Sides
As our students and families invest in the lives of children in Pueblo Modelo, we believe God will also transform hearts here at Chapel Hill. Our students will see what it looks like to live with open hands and open hearts, to value people over possessions, and to recognize that the Gospel moves through both giving and going.
We believe God has uniquely placed CHCA in this partnership for such a time as this—to help transform lives in Guatemala while shaping the hearts of our own students for global mission and lifelong compassion.
